Terms of Service

Last updated October 16, 2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Echo ("Echo", "we", "us") provides software at echovod.com that turns property photos into AI-generated video tours, narration and property websites (the "Service"). These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the Service. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@echovod.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You may sign in with an email address and password or with a Google account.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, text, audio and other material you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, including sending it to the third-party AI providers that generate video, narration and text on your behalf. You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload Your Content and to market the properties it depicts, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or any listing agreement.

4. Generated output

Videos, narration, scripts and website copy produced by the Service ("Output") are generated by artificial intelligence from Your Content and your settings. Subject to these Terms, we assign to you whatever rights we hold in Output created for your account.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of anything you publish. Output is produced by automated systems and may contain errors, artefacts, invented details or elements that do not exist in the real property; narration and website copy may misstate prices, sizes, features, availability, neighbourhood facts or legal terms. You agree to review every video, narration, script and web page before you use it, to verify every factual claim against your own records, and to correct or discard anything that is inaccurate or misleading. We do not verify Output, we make no representation that it is accurate, complete or fit for any listing, and you may not rely on it as a source of fact.

You are also responsible for complying with the advertising, fair-housing, anti-discrimination, licensing, disclosure and consumer-protection laws and the MLS, brokerage and platform rules that apply to you. Do not present Output as an unedited recording or photograph of a property where that would mislead a buyer or renter.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is unlawful, defamatory or discriminatory;
  • generate content that is deceptive about a property's condition, size, location or availability;
  • violate fair-housing or anti-discrimination laws in any listing, narration or advertisement;
  • reverse-engineer, scrape or resell the Service, or probe its security;
  • interfere with other users' use of the Service or send unsolicited communications through it.

6. Credits, plans and payment

Generation is metered in credits. New accounts receive a starting balance of credits at no charge. Paid plans and credit packs, their prices and the number of credits they include are shown in the Service before you buy them. Payments are taken by Stripe, our payment processor; we never see or store your card details. Monthly plans renew automatically on your saved payment method until you cancel them in Billing. Credits are consumed when a generation is submitted; a generation that fails on our side is refunded to your balance.

Included monthly usage. The credits included in a monthly plan are for use during that billing period only. Any that remain unused expire when the period ends and do not roll over, including when you change plans or cancel; they are replaced by the next period's credits while your subscription is active. Credits you buy as a top-up, and your starter credits, do not expire while your account is open. When spending, plan credits are used before purchased credits. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not refundable except where the law requires it. We may change prices and credit amounts for future periods with notice in the Service.

7. Storage and retention

Uploads and Output are stored so you can return to them. Storage limits and retention periods depend on your plan. Retention periods are shown in the Service. We may delete content that exceeds those limits or belongs to accounts that have been closed, after notice where practical. Keep your own copies of anything important.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, email, authentication (including Google sign-in), payments (Stripe), domain registration and AI generation. Their availability affects ours. Publishing to social networks or listing sites is subject to those platforms' own terms.

9. Termination

You can close your account at any time by emailing us at support@echovod.com. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or create risk for us or other users. On closure, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete Your Content and Output after a reasonable period.

10. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Echo, its owners, employees and contractors from any claim, loss, liability, fine or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your Output, your listings or marketing, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right, including claims by buyers, renters, sellers, landlords, brokers, regulators or licensing bodies relating to the accuracy of material you published.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that Output will be accurate or suitable for any purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data.

12. Domain names bought through Echo

You can buy a domain name inside Echo. We register it through an accredited registrar partner with you as the registrant (the legal holder of the name); your contact details are filed with the registrar and the registry as their rules require and shielded from public lookup where the registry allows (some endings, such as .us, do not allow it).

You pay the yearly fee shown at purchase when you order. We register the name after a short hold, usually within a day; if the registry cannot register it, we cancel the order and refund the payment. Once a name is registered, registrations and renewals are paid to the registry at once and are not refundable. The yearly fee renews automatically on your saved payment method until you cancel the renewal in Billing. If a renewal is not paid, the name expires under the registry's rules and may become available to others.

You may move the name to another provider from Settings, where we unlock it and send you the transfer code. Registry rules do not allow a move in the first 60 days after a registration or after a previous move, so a move can start only after that. The yearly charge here stops when you move the name away; the year already paid is not refunded. We do not pick, approve or police the names you choose; you are responsible for not infringing anyone else's rights with them.

13. Copyright complaints

If you believe a page hosted by Echo shows a photo or other material that infringes your copyright, email support@echovod.com with "Copyright complaint" in the subject line. Your notice must include:

  • the work you say is infringed;
  • the web address of the page and which material on it you mean;
  • your name, postal address, email address and phone number;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, their agent or the law;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
  • your physical or electronic signature.

We remove or block the material and tell the person who published it. If they send us a counter-notice that meets the law's requirements, we may put the material back after ten business days unless you tell us you have filed a court action against them. We close the accounts of people who infringe repeatedly.

14. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may change the Service and these Terms. For material changes we will notify you in the Service or by email before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms. The list at the end of this page records what changed and when.

15. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be brought in the courts located there. Questions about these Terms: support@echovod.com.
