Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Echo ("we", "us") collects when you use echovod.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies alongside our Terms of Service.

1. What we collect

• Account information. Your email address, name, password (stored only as a hash) and, if you use Google sign-in, the name, email address and profile picture Google shares with us. We do not receive your Google password.
• Profile details you add. Phone number, brokerage and avatar, if you enter them.
• Domain registrant details. If you buy a domain name, the name, postal address, phone number and email address the registry requires of the name's holder. We file them with our registrar and the registry and keep a copy with your order; they are hidden from public lookup where the registry allows it.
• Content you upload. Property photos, music and text you provide to create videos and websites, and the videos, narration, scripts and websites the Service generates from them.
• Messages from your property websites. Where a website you publish offers a way to contact you, the names, email addresses, phone numbers and messages visitors submit. We hold these on your behalf.
• Usage and technical data. Actions in the Service (such as generations and credit use), device and browser information, IP address and approximate location, and error logs.

2. How we use it

• to provide the Service: authenticate you, store your projects, generate and deliver Output;
• to meter usage, apply plan limits and process payments;
• to register and renew the domain names you buy, and to keep them in your name;
• to send transactional email such as confirmation links and security codes;
• to protect the Service against abuse, fraud and security incidents;
• to improve the Service, using aggregated or de-identified information where possible;
• to comply with law and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of it:

• hosting, database, storage and authentication providers;
• AI generation providers that receive the photos and text needed to produce a specific video, narration or script;
• email delivery providers for transactional email;
• Stripe, our payment processor, when you buy a plan, credits or a domain name (Stripe handles your card details; we do not store them);
• the registrar we buy domain names through and the registry for each domain ending, which must hold the registrant's details under the rules for domain names;
• Google, when you choose Google sign-in, subject to Google's privacy policy;
• Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces on our pages and on the property websites, and Cloudflare Turnstile, which tells people from bots on our sign-in and sign-up forms; each receives your IP address and browser details when it serves you.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits to echovod.com. It sets no cookies, does not identify you, and Cloudflare does not keep your IP address for it. Pages served on a customer's own domain carry no analytics.

Property websites you publish are public by design, including the photos, videos and contact details you put on them. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety or the integrity of the Service, and in connection with a merger or sale of the business.

4. Retention

We keep account information for as long as your account exists. Uploads and Output are kept according to the storage and retention limits of your plan, as shown in the Service, and are deleted when you delete them, when they exceed those limits, or after your account is closed. Billing and usage records, and the registrant details on a domain order, are kept as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes. Backups and logs are retained for a limited period and then overwritten.

5. Your choices and rights

You can view and update your profile in Settings, delete individual projects and files, and ask us to close your account. Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at support@echovod.com and we will respond within the time required by law. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage to keep you signed in, to remember preferences such as your theme, and to cache your project's photos and clips on your device so the editor stays fast. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. Visit counts come from cookie-free Cloudflare Web Analytics, described above.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is restricted, and API keys for third-party providers are held only on our servers. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you as required by law.

8. Children

The Service is for real-estate professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. International transfers

We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

10. Changes and contact

We will post any changes to this policy here and update the date above; for material changes we will also notify you in the Service or by email. The list below records what changed and when. Questions or requests: support@echovod.com.
