A real estate video editor that makes the first cut for you

Echo runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install. Upload the listing photos and the first cut is generated from them, a clip from every photo, laid out on a timeline. Then shape it: order, trims, speed, a transition per cut, narration line by line.

300 credits on signup, no card needed.

What it is

Real estate video editing in the browser, with the first cut already made

Echo is a web-based real estate video editor built for listings. You open it in a browser, upload up to 20 listing photos, and the first cut is generated from them. Each photo becomes a 4, 6 or 8 second clip with camera motion, made by an AI video model in Standard or Premium quality, and the clips land on a timeline in sequence.

Video editing for real estate agents starts here with the photos you already have. The editor exists to adjust a cut that is already made. You watch every clip, move what needs moving, and regenerate the one shot that did not come out right.

  • Web-based, with nothing to install
  • Up to 20 listing photos per project
  • A 4, 6 or 8 second clip from each photo, Standard or Premium quality
  • Standard clips ready to review in about a minute; Premium and 1080p take a few minutes
  • A timeline with reorder, trim, speed, a transition per cut, snapping and undo

How a cut gets made

From listing photos to a first cut in four steps

  1. 1. Upload the photos

Up to 20 per project, from your phone, your photographer or the MLS export. Set the shape, widescreen or vertical, and the quality, Standard or Premium.

  2. 2. Generate the clips

The credit cost is shown before you confirm. Standard clips come back in about a minute; Premium and 1080p take a few minutes. Each photo comes back as its own clip on the timeline.

  3. 3. Add narration and music

Choose a voice and Echo drafts the words to fit the running time; change any line before you generate the take. Add a track from the music library or upload your own, or leave the voice out.

  4. 4. Adjust and export

Reorder, trim, change the speed, set a transition per cut, and regenerate any clip you would rather redo. Download the MP4 or publish it on a property page.

What you can change

Real estate video editing, clip by clip

The first cut is a starting point. Every clip sits on a timeline where you can change its place, its length, its speed and the transition into the next one. Snapping keeps the cuts tidy, and undo takes back a change you did not mean.

What you changeHow it works in the editor
OrderDrag clips into place. Lead with the exterior or the best room, end on the view or the outdoor space.
LengthTrim any clip. Each starts at the 4, 6 or 8 seconds you chose.
SpeedChange the speed of a clip to linger on a room or move through a hallway faster.
TransitionsOne transition per cut, chosen where two clips meet.
A clip that is wrongRegenerate that clip on its own. The rest of the tour stays as it was, and the credit cost is shown before you confirm.

Narration and music

A script written for the video, in a voice you pick

Pick a voice from Echo's library and Echo writes a narration script sized to the video. Read it line by line. Edit any line, regenerate a take you do not like, or leave the voice out and run music only. The narration says what you tell it about the property, so check the square footage and the year built before the video goes out. Keep the words about the home, never about who should live there.

Music comes from a library sorted by mood, Ambient, Chill, Corporate, Inspiring and Upbeat, or from a track you upload yourself.

Exports

Widescreen or vertical, downloaded as an MP4

Set the project to widescreen 16:9 for the listing page, the MLS and YouTube, or to vertical 9:16 for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. A second shape takes the same photos and script and generates the clips again, with the credit cost shown first. The finished video downloads as an MP4.

Paid plans export up to 1080p with no watermark. The free plan exports 720p with a small Echo mark. Any project can also publish a property page with the tour, the gallery, the details and your contact information, hosted by Echo, with an unbranded copy for MLS virtual-tour fields.

Questions

Things agents ask about the editor

Is Echo an editing service or video editing software for real estate?

Echo is web-based video editing software for real estate. You upload the listing photos yourself, the first cut is generated from them, and you adjust it in a timeline editor in the browser. No one edits it for you, and nothing is installed.

Is there a real estate video editing app to download?

No. Echo's real estate video editing app runs in the browser, and there is no separate mobile or desktop app to install.

Do I need video footage to use the editor?

No. Echo's editor works from up to 20 listing photos per project. Each photo becomes a 4, 6 or 8 second clip with camera motion generated by an AI video model, and those clips are what you edit on the timeline.

Can I fix one clip without redoing the whole video?

Yes. Any single clip can be regenerated on its own in Echo's editor. The rest of the timeline, the narration and the music stay as they were.

Does the editor add captions, a logo or a square format?

No. Echo exports the clean video as an MP4 in widescreen 16:9 or vertical 9:16. Captions, brand overlays on the video and square formats are not part of the editor.

Can I use my own voice or my own music?

Your own music, yes. Upload a track or pick one from Echo's library. Narration uses the voices in Echo's library; you edit every line of the script and can regenerate any take.

What does real estate video editing cost in Echo?

Credits pay for generation in Echo, and the price is shown before every generation. A 6-second Standard clip at 720p is 40 credits; a typical 8-photo tour is about 450. The plans are on the pricing page.
